DVA Physiotherapy – Albury, Wodonga & Melbourne
At Enhance Physio, we’re proud to support our veterans through dedicated DVA physiotherapy services across Albury, Wodonga, and Melbourne. Our team has a long-standing partnership with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, helping current and former service members recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve mobility, strength, and overall wellbeing.
Physiotherapy Care for Veterans
Our experienced physiotherapists understand the unique demands of military training and service. Having worked at Blamey Barracks Kapooka, RAAF Base Wagga, and Latchford Barracks Bonegilla, our team brings valuable insight into the challenges faced by veterans. We work closely with both Gold Card and White Card holders, providing personalised treatment programs and assisting with braces, supports, and mobility aids when needed. Enhance Physio also partners with rehabilitation organisations such as Helping Heroes to ensure every veteran receives the care and support they deserve throughout their recovery.
Exercise & Rehabilitation Programs for DVA Patients
To complement individual physiotherapy sessions, we offer a weekly group gym program designed specifically for DVA patients. Supervised by one of our physiotherapists, this class focuses on improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional capacity while encouraging social connection within the veteran community. Each participant receives a personalised strength and conditioning plan developed by our physiotherapist Matt, tailored to their injury, goals, and capabilities. Sessions are held every Wednesday at 10:30 AM at our Albury clinic, providing a relaxed, supportive environment where members can stay active, build confidence, and connect with others. A GP referral is all that’s required to join the class.
