Pre and Post-Operative Rehabilitation

Successful surgical recovery depends not only on the procedure itself but also on effective pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.

Our pre-operative programs help you strengthen and prepare your body before surgery, promoting faster healing and better results afterward. Following your procedure, our post-operative physiotherapy focuses on pain management, mobility restoration, and rebuilding confidence in movement.

At Enhance Physio, your rehabilitation plan is completely individualised, whether you’re aiming to return to sport, work, or pain-free daily life. Your sessions may include education, manual therapy, and guided exercises to help you recover safely and efficiently.

Needling for physio

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a targeted treatment that uses fine, sterile acupuncture needles to release tight muscle bands (trigger points), relieve pain, and restore normal movement. By stimulating specific areas of the muscle, dry needling improves blood flow, reduces tension, and accelerates recovery.

The treatment is generally painless due to the extremely fine size of the needles (as thin as 0.3 mm), and patients often feel only a brief twitch or mild sensation as the muscle releases. Combined with other physiotherapy techniques, dry needling can provide lasting relief from chronic tightness and improve flexibility and performance.
